CPV-13 Conference Dinner in the Canadian Museum of History

The CPV-13 Conference Dinner will take place in the Grand Hall of the Canadian Museum of History which is housing one of the world’s largest indoor collections of totem poles. This unique venue offers a fantastic view of the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill and promises to be a great location for a pleasant evening in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere with colleagues and friends.

During the cocktail reception all participants will have the possiblility to visit the exhibition “The Dig” which contains beautiful aboriginal artifacts as well as a reproduction of an archeological dig site.

Time:  6:45 pm Cocktail Reception and Exhibition
            7:45 pm Dinner
Fee:    90 Can$ (including one drink, pre-registration is required)
            (approx. 68 US$ as of February 2017)

Bus transfer will be available. The meeting point is in front of the conference venue. Buses will leave 6:15 pm.

It is also possible to walk to the Canadian Museum of History. The 3.4 km itinerary through Major's Hill Park is a scenic route, giving views of the Parliament buildings and the Ottawa River. Please see the map for directions.
